Marazion 3-1 St Agnes (Ladies)
In a match of two distinct halves St Agnes Ladies were back in League action on Sunday traveling away to face Division 1 high fliers Marazion.
St Agnes Ladies started brightly with Tracie Burley hitting the post, shooting over the bar and wide, but taking the lead through a Kirsty Dilley header to leave the half time score 1-0 to St Agnes. St Agnes keeper Julie Windram was in good form pulling off some excellent saves to keep her team well in the match.
The second half saw Marazion come back at St Agnes straight from the whistle seeing the score line 2-1 to Marazion within a 10 minute period. St Agnes defended well with Lyndsey Cowl and Kath Carter strong and precise and the rest of the team battling to the final whistle. St Agnes pushed players on to try to recover their lead but Marazion seized the opportunity and scored again leaving the final score 3-1 to Marazion. St Agnes Ladies would love to hear from any ladies of any ability interested in joining their squad, or any coaches or managers interested in joining a solid club and a determined team.
