Members of St Agnes AFC 1st Team warmed-up on Saturday not just wearing this seasons newly sponsored waterproofs by Printout Printing Services (incorporating Martyn Kimmins Print), but also each sporting a pair of new red laces in their boots.
The laces were worn in support of the Nike 'Lace Up Save Lives' Campaign where monies from the sale of the laces is donated to charity to help in the fight against Aids in Africa.
St Agnes AFC Chairman Mandy Kimmins said, "I am not sure the laces brought us luck on the pitch today at Newquay, but its a great feeling that St Agnes AFC have contributed in a small way to help the battle against aids in Africa. I am really thrilled that once again the players at St Agnes displayed such great enthusiasm for doing their bit and making a difference. We are so lucky to have players who want to get involved and understand that football can be so much more than just turning up and playing each week!"
