St Agnes 1st/2nd Teams 2010-2011
St Agnes AFC 1st and 2nd Team hosted guests Lanreath on Saturday for a double header friendly fixture at Enys Parc.
The first fixture saw the St Agnes AFC Combination side take on the Lanreath East Cornwall Premier side with Mike Burns opening the scoring for St Agnes. The first 35 minutes saw St Agnes playing some good football with many missed opportunities from Alec Penrose and Tom Benney. Two lapses in concentration saw St Agnes go 2-1 down before half time. The second half was a more even affair with St Agnes generally on top, scoring a well deserved erqualizer through Alec Penrose. Manager Martyn Kimmins was reasonably encouraged by the display and welcomed to the squad youngsters Luke Osborne, Bradley Leivers, Shaq Lampier, and the more experienced Andy Miles.
The St Agnes AFC Falmouth/Helston Division 1 side then took on the Lanreath 2nd Team coming out 3-2 winners.
